Private beta privacy disclosure

Veteran Career Kit uses Sign in with ChatGPT for identity. The site receives the signed-in email address and, when available, a display name. It never receives or stores the ChatGPT password.

Data collected

• Verified account email, optional display name, beta position, and access status
• Agreement acceptance date and agreement version
• Feedback ratings, bug reports, feature ideas, comments, and contact permission
• Waitlist email and optional name when a visitor asks for launch notification
• Short-lived abuse-prevention counters and security audit events

How data is used

Data is used to enforce the 77-member limit, operate member access, investigate bugs, improve features, prevent abuse, honor account controls, and send a launch notice only when permission is given. Beta data is not sold and no payment information is collected.

Administrator feedback notifications

Feedback is stored in the secure administrator dashboard. When email notifications are enabled, the submission and the tester's account email are transmitted to the configured email-delivery provider only to send a copy to the Veteran Career Kit administrator. Contact permission controls whether the administrator may reply to the tester for clarification.

Career-tool entries

Current résumé, interview, compensation, application, and planning tools may save work in the member's browser. That content is separate from the server-side beta enrollment counter and feedback database. Members should not enter classified information, health data, Social Security numbers, passwords, or another person's private data.

VA disability calculator entries

The public VA disability calculator performs calculations in the visitor's browser. Condition names, individual ratings, paired-limb selections, and dependent details are not submitted to Veteran Career Kit, stored in an account, or saved in browser storage. Visitors should still avoid entering diagnoses or other health information they do not want visible on their screen.

Deletion and retained enforcement record

A member may delete the beta account from the account page. The stored name and email are removed and access ends. The occupied position, agreement audit record, and a keyed non-readable identifier remain during the beta so deleted or duplicate accounts cannot reopen a seat or cause enrollment to exceed 77.

Beta limitations

Features may contain errors, be incomplete, change, or be withdrawn. The site provides educational career resources and does not guarantee employment, interviews, salary, benefits, certification, or eligibility.

Accessibility and contact permission

Forms are designed for keyboard use, labeled controls, responsive layouts, visible focus, and screen-reader status announcements. The optional contact checkbox on feedback applies only to clarification of that submission.
